Mediation
Kinsey & Co Solicitors recognise the need for additional professional services when dealing with many of the issues that arise as a result of the breakdown of a relationship. Kinsey & Co Solicitors promote and support the National Family Mediation Service and the West Yorkshire Mediation Service. Experience has shown us that the Mediation Service can often assist separating couples to reach agreement about financial or children issues away from the court arena. We therefore offer all our clients the opportunity of being referred to the Mediation Service.
Children Counselling Services
The breakdown of a family unit can be traumatic and distressing for all members of the family. Whilst adults may come to terms with the breakdown of their relationship the children of the family may need more time to adjust. Some children may need additional specialist help to comes to terms with the breakdown of their parents relationship. Kinsey & Co Solicitors are proud to work alongside child counsellors, life coaches and children welfare services and would be happy to provide clients with further details about such services or make appropriate referrals if felt necessary by the parents.
Independent Financial Advice
In many matrimonial cases the issue of dealing with financial products and services arises. Whilst Kinsey & Co Solicitors can provide clients with legal advice about their situation, we recognise that specialist financial advice may be required. We are not tied to any independent financial adviser but we can provide you with details of independent financial advisers who are not only qualified in financial matters but have also had additional training to recognise the issues that arise in family law matters.
We are proud to have a good working relationship with financial advisers who have also been trained by Resolution to provide advice and assistance in collaborative law cases and to help resolve financial matters arising from relationship breakdown away from the court system.
Self Help Groups
Kinsey & Co Solicitors are a specialist family law firm. We advise and act for clients during some of their hardest emotional times. We therefore recognise the important work that charitable organisations or trusts undertake in supporting people who are going through divorce or relationship breakdown.
